The Back Page was launched in August 2025, providing fully independent coverage of Maidstone United. We produced 36 online editions, running to almost 900 pages, during the season, almost one per week. For the 2026-27 we are looking to run more of a 24-7 operation, covering breaking stories on a revamped website and producing a monthly online magazine, with limited numbers of printed editions available for subscribers.

We’re delighted to say that the amber-suited-force-for-humanity that is Sean Scurr will be stepping into the Deputy Editor’s role for the forthcoming season, while lifelong Stones fan Jon Crowther is joining us as Commercial Editor.
